When pawning Gold, it's good to know it's content. The higher the percentage of Gold, the more value. You can use this chart to determine how much Gold content is in your pieces by identifying the Karat marking stamped on the piece.
This chart shows common UK marks for Gold, Silver, Platinum and Palladium. Markings may differ, depending on which country the piece originated from.
Products marked 925 or .925 identification are genuine Sterling Silver, or 92.5% silver.
